A step above the usual folding soldier’s mirror. Beautiful wood clipped oval with an inlaid bird on the front. The case was well kept and in excellent+ shape. The thick oval beveled mirror is a bit cloudy as usual for these but you can see yourself in it ok. Clearer than most. On the back it has the initials “D.M.K.” stencilled in black. This is very well done – looks like it was done when the mirror was made as it seems to be under the finish which is original to piece – likely made specifically for the fellow. A high grade of crafstmanship and CW era personal item. Have seen but a few over the years with this bird. (CWCE, FMCW, CCW, etc.) (DCA $350.00, 9 yrs ago)
