Standard pattern properly cut high waisted trousers with side seam pockets, and a watch pocket at the waistband. Back is V cut with adjustable back belt and sewn in black enameled brass buckle. The interior waistband and pockets are black cotton muslin. Top exposed waistband buttonhole and all interior fly buttonholes are handsewn. Four button fly, one waist button and six suspender buttons. Our high quality black enameled stippled tin buttons throughout. Made of high quality dark brown wool in the same excellent craftsman as our other clothing items. Marked with size and currently available labeled for documented southern, western federal or northeastern wartime and pre-war makers. (please specify in comments with order as to which label is preferred or we will mark garment based upon customer’s shipping address) Shipped un-hemmed so you can properly adjust length to your preference. Size indicated is actual waist measurement of trousers from center of button hole to center of button. Although our clothing items have found widespread approval – uniforming and outer clothing is not our primary business and until now we have restricted sale of such items to over the counter sales at events and at the shop, where the purchaser has the opportunity to try on the item before purchase.
