Beautiful wood clipped oval with an inlaid bird on the front. The case was well kept and in excellent+ shape. The thick oval beveled mirror is a bit cloudy as usual for these but you can see yourself in it ok. Clearer than most.  On the back it has the initials &#8220;D.M.K.&#8221; stencilled in black. This is very well done &#8211; looks like it was done when the mirror was made as it seems to be under the finish which is original to piece &#8211; likely made specifically for the fellow. A high grade of crafstmanship and CW era personal item. Have seen but a few over the years with this bird.
