Description

Stands 38-3/4″ tall including the handle and has a diameter of 4″. This multi-use tin case is made with standard Civil War type soldered construction. The tube is made in 2 sections soldered together in the middle with typical period style razed concentric rings for added straight.  Base and top of lid are flat and soldered on with pounded over edge. Side seam is folded over and soldered. Handle has folded over edge and is also soldered in place. Retains about 65% tin finish. Nice even over all patina and age. No dents or dings. A quite rare piece of vintage tin ware for the most advanced collections and displays. (Lid fits very snug, recommend not pulling on handle to remove. Will ship with lid off.)
