Gray/brown and cream blend wool knit cap. Cross seam on top as seen in several original documented examples provides a classic historic look with the longer seam worn fore and aft. A nice solid weight double layer wool cap which can be rolled down to the neckline, or up above the ears as desired. Documented in use on both sides, the knit cap was a universally popular item for centuries. Great for staying warm in the bunk as well, and drowning out the noise of camp! Comes with a documented period woolen mills label.
