Finely checked woven cotton pre-tied bowtie cravat copied from various original examples. The bowtie portion is preset and sewn in place to the cravat neckpiece. The cravat is fully adjustable in size and closes with a faithful reproduction of a period two prong adjustment buckle. Comes complete in a labeled light green cardstock box with gold design edging which we have faithfully reproduced, the design copied from an original CW period clothiers shirt box which we examined. It also features our interior paper the exact color of the paper we have found used in the interior of multiple period boxes. Label is of a known and documented wartime and pre-war clothier in Cincinnati. Another item we have sold for over a decade in the field with very positive review – now available for you online.
