Cavalry yellow silk cord with tassels on each end measuring a full 128″ long. Primarily used as a bugle wrap and shoulder strap, similar cords also were utilized as flag cords attached to the top of the color’s staff. Ours comes complete in the proper period made box with meticulous attention to detail. Labeled for James C. Ritchie, famous and very popular wartime military goods dealer and producer from Cincinnati. This is some of the last of our inventory previously offered in our field tent at events only.
