This is private purchase sword belt suitable for officers or mounted service enlisted men patterned after the basic model 1851 dragoon/cavalry belt. Features the standard adjustable hook configuration with sliding leather loop, square brass ring for one strap hanger and the ring assembly with hook for the other. The hangers close with the standard two sided brass button on each end. Will adjust out to 46″, more holes can be added to makes as mall as desired. The shoulder strap has hooks on either end, one to adjust the length and one to attach to the ring. Comes with a plain brass eagle plate.
