Description

This is a private purchase belt which features the standard adjustable waist belt and a brass eagle plate with keeper and leather slide loop. The belt is embossed on the edge in red and the stitching is also done in red. The sword hanging straps are attached to brass rings, one with a hanging hook, which are sewn to removable leather slides. The slide and straps, which have standard two sided brass button closures, are also embossed in red. This is a very versatile belt which can be worn as a dismounted belt by any NCO or Officer and quickly converted to a mounted service or dismounted sword belt. If not utilizing snap hooks, this allows the straps to stay attached to the scabbard rings when removed and leaves the wearer unencumbered by the dangling straps, which can be a real pain – even when snapped together.
