This is a gold bullion Masonic Emblem with silver bullion “G” on black wool felt with black muslin backing. Double gold wire border on upright oval. (same size a cap badge but oriented vertically) Comes in the same paste board box as our military cap badges with label for James C. Ritchie, period dealer in military and fraternal regalia and also tagged on back of badge. Interior of box has our signature period, tissue thin, brown paper – copied after examining multiple period boxes and packaged items. A really very striking and handsome badge.
