One size badge for kepi or Army Hat, sometimes also found on original slouch and civilian type brimmed hats. Black wool felt cloth with gold bullion Ordinance Dept. flaming bomb device. Badge is backed with black muslin and labeled for J. Groosman, a pre-war and wartime dealer in military and fraternal organization regalia. Comes in a paste board box also labeled for the dealer. Interior of box has our signature period, tissue thin, brown paper – copied after examining multiple period boxes and packaged items.
