Description

The ubiquitous “ginger” beer bottle seen in many period photos and nearly all appropriate references. Almost universally imported and stamped with many different marks. This one is stamped at base in oval – mostly readable – “MURRAY” and the number “2”. Bottom arch is partially over the edge – probably read “GLASGOW”. A few edge chips here and there but in nice sound, serviceable and displayable condition. Nice patina and age overall. Good example priced right for the average collector.
