Woven gold bullion and black silk hat lanyard with standard woven slide adjuster same as Type I. Acorns are a bit smaller and of gold bullion with fine twisted black silk net around bulb. A documented type available along with quite a few variants during the war. Comes in a paste board box labeled for James C. Ritchie of Cincinnati, well documented pre-war and wartime dealer in military goods and fraternal regalia. Interior of box has our signature period, tissue thin, brown paper – copied after examining multiple period boxes and packaged items.
