Woven gold bullion and blue silk hat lanyard with standard woven slide adjuster. Acorns are full size gold bullion with fine twisted blue silk net woven around bulb. This was a high grade variant type available along with quite a few standard variants privately purchased during the war. Comes in a paste board box labeled for James C. Ritchie of Cincinnati, well documented pre-war and wartime dealer in military goods and fraternal regalia. Interior of box has our signature period, tissue thin, brown paper – copied after examining multiple period boxes and packaged items.
